The Highlights of 2015
Charles visited Souq Waqif in Doha, Qatar on his 5th month.
Charles visited The Pearl in Doha, Qatar on his 6th month.
Charles’ First Travel to the Philippines from Qatar was when he was 7 months old.
We visited the Butterfly Sanctuary in Bohol, Philippines
Carmen celebrated her 27th birthday at Veraneante Resort in Bohol, Philippines. H. actually called the hotel staff to surprise Carmen with cake and flowers.
We flew with Cebu Pacific from Naga Airport to Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, Philippines.
We went to Jamaica to attend Charles’ great-grandmother’s funeral service.
We were given a Business Class – Lounge Invitation to the Admirals Club in Miami International Airport.
A friend gave H. a brief tour of Macau, China
Carmen’s A380 Business Class Experience from Doha to London Heathrow.
We attended the 39th OBAP Annual Convention and Career Fair held at Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia.
After the OBAP Annual Convention, we did a sightseeing in Washington, DC.

We threw a big party for Charles’ 1st birthday. Family and friends attended our Mickey Mouse-themed party at Avenue Hotel, Naga City, Philippines
We celebrated our 2nd year Wedding Anniversary at Ipanema Restaurant, Marriott Marquis City Center Hotel in Doha, Qatar.
We went to New York to see Charles’ cousins and spent Thanksgiving in New Jersey.
From Doha to Manila, we stopped over at Singapore Changi Airport.
We were planning to attend the funeral service of my Uncle in Bicol. However due to the bad weather, domestic flights to Naga were canceled; thus, we were stuck in Manila. Here we were at SM Megamall making the most of the situation.
On our way out of John F. Kennedy International Airport, a gentleman dressed in an elf costume gave Charles a candy cane. We spent our Christmas with H.’s brother and his family in New York.
We also visited Carmen’s relatives in Cleveland, Ohio.
From Cleveland to Tallahassee, we got stranded in Atlanta, Georgia. We were thankful that Delta Airlines provided us a complimentary stay in a nice hotel.
We also visited Carmen’s uncle in Tallahassee, Florida.
