Having a baby doesn’t mean that you need to stop traveling the world and discovering new things! Here are some of the best baby-friendly destinations:

1. Bali, Indonesia

There are numerous baby-friendly resorts in Bali, plus most of them offer affordable babysitting services for those parents who want a couple of hours to themselves. Little ones will enjoy seeing the animals at the nearby zoos and parks, while also playing in the wide-open spaces. Parents can choose to do a few of the more thrilling adventures, while their babies are sleeping under strict supervision, or they can choose a few of the safer options that they can do with their baby in tow.

2. Tokyo, Japan

The culture in Japan may be different than other places in the world, especially when it comes to moms breastfeeding in public, but it is still one of the most baby-friendly places to visit. The city has done a tremendous job of ensuring that moms are comfortable in the provided family rooms at businesses, restaurants, and other buildings. These luxurious rooms can be used for nursing and diaper changes, but they are not the only amenities offered for parents within the city. Parents can also visit the numerous Baby Cafes, where they can have something to eat and relax, while their little one is sleeping or playing.

3. Florence, Italy

Florence is full of color and sounds, which makes it perfect for a curious baby who is beginning to learn about everything. Parents will find that they can take their little ones to the wineries and vineyards with them, because there are always other babies visiting with their parents. Small children will love being upright in this area of the country, instead of in a stroller, because they will want to catch a glimpse of all the action. At the restaurants, the servers understand that babies do not like to wait, so they are very quick with taking orders and delivering food.

4. London, England

There are numerous parks and green spaces in the city of London, which is why it is one of the best places to travel to with a baby. The streets are easy to navigate with a stroller, and babies love seeing the animals at the zoo. While a baby isn’t going to love visiting every museum within the city, they will sleep through some of them and be intrigued by the rest. While London can get crowded during peak times of the year, it is still safe, and visitors will find that the locals are quite friendly.

5. Chicago, Illinois

Chicago may have earned the nickname of the Windy City, but that doesn’t mean that parents need to shy away from this popular attraction. Instead, parents should bundle their infant up and take advantage of the many stroller tours that are offered at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Field Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The marine life at the Shedd Aquarium will keep the fussiest baby entertained for a few minutes, and the fresh air down by the Navy Pier will have them snoozing sooner than later.

6. Montreal, Canada

Babies love being walked through the city streets of Montreal, because there are plenty of other people to see along the way. Thankfully, the streets are easy to maneuver, whether parents are just walking along with their baby in a carrier or if they are pushing a stroller around from one area to another. The best part about Montreal is that there are multiple child-friendly festivals held throughout the year. That means that parents will be able to keep their little ones entertained without completely overwhelming them.

  2. I’m sure it can be challenging to travel with children. That’s nice that you’ve offered up some great choices that the whole family can enjoy beyond the usual playground, Disney or waterpark.

  4. For Tokyo, I beg to disagree, Osaka, Kobe and Nara would be a perfect substitute. Tokyo is noisy, crowded, and sometimes unfriendly to tourists.
