It’s that time of the year again where we #PayItForward by giving an H & C Wellington Excellence Achievement Scholarship to student pilots via the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals.
Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals
The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals consists of astronauts, commercial pilots, military aviators, maintenance technicians, flight instructors, air traffic controllers, flight attendants, students and more. It is a nonprofit organization founded in 1976 dedicated to empowering minorities in all aviation and aerospace careers.
They have 4 types of memberships: Youth, Professional, Corporate, and Institutional. See their website for more information on the best membership type that fits you.
H & C Wellington Excellence Achievement Scholarship
Han was a recipient of several financial scholarships at OBAP. So we fully understand the financial challenges associated with pursuing a career in Aviation. We decided to give back by giving a scholarship to student pilots, the H & C Wellington Excellence Achievement Scholarship.
“This Excellence Achievement Scholarship is being offered so that one day an aspiring aviator that is fully motivated and driven by success will one day realize their goals and dreams of becoming an Airline Pilot.”
